Rain Barrel Workshop: "Anyone with a roof on planet Earth can harvest rain water. From Mexico City to Calcutta or Los Angeles to Beijing. One inch of rain fall on a 1,000 foot surface will yield approximately 500 gallons of soft, untreated rain water. It’s a huge source of water as close as your nearest down spout. So liberate your down spout today and harvest the rain!" Learn how to harvest rain water at home with Dan Borba from Natural Rain Water. Dan has been a leader in rain barrel solutions since 1999 with great success in the region. Dan will have a rain barrel for attendees to check out in person at the workshop and will explain how you can use a rain barrel at home.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (253) 238-0977 for more information! No registration is required for either workshop.
Neighborhood Makeover Week empowers residents to beautify and maintain their homes and neighborhoods, making their community safer.
